The process, patented by a Gironde-based company, is being tested on two sites with no street lighting, in order to secure access to the Saint-Lambert shooting range and campsite.

How can you see better at night without installing street lighting? That's the challenge of photoluminescent road paint. The paint glows at night, giving cyclists and pedestrians greater visibility and safety. This luminous idea, developed by the French company Olikrom, based in Gironde, is "a small revolution", according to Jonathan Gien, the new director of Millau's municipal technical center, and Bernard Grégoire, the elected representative in charge of the works.
