A visit based on exchange and feedback

The French Minister for the Civil Service, Guillaume Kasbarian, visited the premises of OliKrom, our innovative company based in Gironde, to discuss administrative procedures and the obstacles encountered by French companies. During the visit, the Minister discovered OliKrom's technological advances, in particular LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint, used to make road infrastructures safer while at the same time being environmentally friendly.

The discussions highlighted the administrative difficulties faced by OliKrom, particularly in terms of standards and regulations, which sometimes slow down the deployment of innovations in France. The meeting enabled the Minister to listen to the company's proposals for simplifying procedures and encouraging innovation in France. The visit testifies to the State's commitment to supporting pioneering companies and fostering a more flexible administrative environment tailored to their needs.

LuminoKrom®: a global innovation held back by French standards

In this article from France 3 Nouvelle-Aquitaine, OliKrom, the Gironde-based company behind LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint, is highlighted for its role in road safety innovation. LuminoKrom® technology, which captures daylight and releases it at night, is used worldwide to make roads and cycle paths safer. However, the article points out the difficulties encountered by OliKrom in the face of often rigid French standards, which hinder the adoption of innovative solutions in France.

Despite these obstacles, OliKrom continues to export its products and promote sustainable, high-performance solutions internationally. The report highlights the importance of removing these administrative hurdles to enable companies like OliKrom to deploy their full potential in France and contribute to the modernization of road infrastructure while meeting environmental challenges.
