[Ouest France] The road between Châteaubriant and Soudan soon covered in luminescent paint
The Loire-Atlantique département has selected a section of the Départementale 771 between Châteaubriant and Soudan, to test our innovation. LuminoKrom® will form the road markings. Its principle of capturing sunlight during the day and releasing it at night is designed to improve the visibility of road markings at night.

Our LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint was chosen to make the road between Châteaubriant and Soudan, in the Pays de la Loire region, safer. By capturing daylight and releasing it at night, our innovation provides optimum visibility for road users, without the need for street lighting. This environmentally-friendly solution is part of a drive to reduce our energy footprint, while improving the safety of road infrastructures, particularly in rural areas which are often poorly lit.
This project is a further illustration of local authorities' commitment to adopting innovative, sustainable solutions for their infrastructure, relying on LuminoKrom® to reconcile safe mobility with respect for the environment.
