Innovative markings to guide cyclists at night

In July 2024, the Communauté d'Agglomération du Grand Sénonais launched a project to improve the safety of a cycle path in the commune of Véron. Under the project management of Colas and with application by JCL Signalisation, the path was equipped with LuminoKrom® photoluminescent markings.

This innovative marking gives cyclists greater visibility, even in the absence of street lighting, improving their safety when travelling at night.

An eco-responsible solution for soft mobility

Thanks to LuminoKrom® technology, which captures daylight and restores it for up to 10 hours at night, this project is contributing to safer, more sustainable mobility. With no energy consumption or CO₂ emissions, this marking helps to support the transition towards more environmentally-friendly infrastructures.
