Beez in Belgium, LuminoKrom® photoluminescent marking
Illuminated markings to guide users of the RAVeL along the Meuse River
A safe route for soft mobility on the banks of the Meuse River
In June 2023, the Service Public de Wallonie (SPW) undertook to make the towpath at Quai de Brumagne in Beez, on the RAVeL, safer by applying LuminoKrom® photoluminescent markings.
Produced by Lambert Marquage, the markings enable cyclists and pedestrians to travel along this route with greater peace of mind, particularly in low-light conditions.
A sustainable alternative for preserving riverbanks
LuminoKrom® captures daylight and releases it for 10 hours at night, guaranteeing effective signage without energy consumption. The project is fully in line with SPW's commitment to promoting soft mobility while preserving the natural environment of the Meuse river banks.
