In February 2024, the city of Carcassonne chose LuminoKrom® to improve safety on the greenway linking Pennautier to the Félines industrial zone.

Manufactured by Signal CBTP, the markings include T2 roadside markings and photoluminescent yield signs. Thanks to this solution, cyclists and pedestrians benefit from optimum visibility at night, particularly at strategic intersections.

A sustainable solution to encourage soft mobility

LuminoKrom® captures daylight and releases it for up to 10 hours at night, guaranteeing high-performance signage without energy consumption. The project is part of the City of Carcassonne's drive to develop safe, eco-responsible infrastructures that encourage safe cycling and walking.
