The town of Carcassonne, in France, has chosen LuminoKrom® for the lighting on one of its cycle paths.

LuminoKrom®, our patented, revolutionary technology in the field of soft mobility safety, is now in use on the Carcassonne cycle path. Thanks to this application of our photoluminescent paint, the town has improved the safety of its cyclists by offering enhanced visibility during night-time journeys. The special pigments in the paint capture daylight and emit it as a diffuse glow throughout the night, guiding cyclists safely even in the dark.

The installation of LuminoKrom® on Carcassonne’s cycle path marks a significant step forward in the city’s commitment to soft mobility safety and environmental innovation. This initiative testifies to the town’s commitment to promoting sustainable, effective solutions to guarantee the safety of road users, while helping to preserve the environment. Thanks to this innovative technology, local residents and visitors alike can now enjoy a safer and more pleasant cycling experience, making Carcassonne a benchmark for intelligent urban infrastructure.
