Chamek/Kluang, a new Malaysian application using our LuminoKrom® phosphorescent marker

2024 continues with the intensive deployment of LuminoKrom® in Malaysia!

Our photoluminescent road paint has been applied for the first time near Kluang, Malaysia. This new project, supervised by JKR Kluang, was carried out by the applicator AHN VERTEX on the national road J191, Jalan Chamek-Kluang.

LuminoKrom® is a revolutionary road safety technology. Our paint absorbs light during the day and releases it again at night, making road markings more visible without relying on street lighting. Dual road marking aims to improve driver safety, particularly in poorly lit or rural areas.

JKR Kluang’s initiative to install LuminoKrom® on Jalan Chamek-Kluang demonstrates their commitment to adopting cutting-edge road safety solutions. This innovation reduces the risk of night-time accidents and provides better orientation for drivers in low-light conditions.

The success of this first deployment near Kluang could encourage wider adoption of LuminoKrom® in this region of Malaysia. By improving the night-time visibility of road markings, LuminoKrom® makes a significant contribution to the safety and sustainability of road infrastructure, effectively addressing the challenges of night-time driving.
