In July 2023, the Communauté d'Agglomération Caen la Mer chose LuminoKrom® to secure a greenway running alongside the RD60A in Colleville-Montgomery.

Applied by AER Eiffage, this photoluminescent marking improves user visibility, guaranteeing a more legible route for pedestrians and cyclists, particularly in poorly lit areas.

A sustainable solution for environmentally-friendly infrastructures

LuminoKrom® captures daylight and releases it for up to 10 hours at night, ensuring efficient signage without energy consumption. This project illustrates Caen la Mer's commitment to the development of soft mobility, by offering a safe and eco-responsible infrastructure adapted to night-time travel.
