Photoluminescent markings for safe pedestrian guidance

Better visibility for safe night-time travel

In July 2023, the Communauté de Communes des Sablons, under the supervision of Medinger - Artemis, installed LuminoKrom® photoluminescent markings to make the pedestrian walkway on rue de Bornel, linking Bornel to Puiseux-le-Hauberger, safer.

Applied by Île-de-France Marquage, this nighttime marking system enables pedestrians to find their way around more easily and safely, particularly in the absence of street lighting.

A sustainable, environmentally-friendly solution

LuminoKrom® captures daylight and releases it up to 10 hours after dark, guaranteeing efficient signage without energy consumption. This project illustrates the Communauté de Communes des Sablons' commitment to soft mobility and safe pedestrian infrastructures, while limiting its environmental impact.
