Illuminated roadside markings to guide cyclists and pedestrians at night

A better-marked route for safer travel

In April 2022, the City of Grenoble improved safety for users of the greenway along the Isère River, between the Oxford Bridge and the A480 bridge (Martyrs Interchange).

Applied by Proximark Groupé Hélios, the LuminoKrom® edge marking provides better visibility at night, making it easier for pedestrians and cyclists to get around, especially in poorly lit areas.

A sustainable solution to promote soft mobility

LuminoKrom® captures daylight and restores it for up to 10 hours after dark, ensuring continuous signage without energy consumption. This project illustrates the City of Grenoble's commitment to securing infrastructures dedicated to soft mobility, while adopting environmentally-friendly solutions.
