Efficient beaconing for safer traffic

In July 2022, the Communauté d'Agglomération de Haguenau built a new cycle path to enhance the safety of soft mobility. Located at the intersection of route de Forstheim and rue de la Ferme Hund, this infrastructure was equipped with LuminoKrom® photoluminescent markings, applied by Signaux Girod.

This marking considerably improves visibility of the route at night, giving cyclists better orientation and reducing the risk of conflicts with other road users.

A sustainable solution for eco-responsible cycling

LuminoKrom® captures daylight and releases it for 10 hours at night, ensuring continuous signage without energy consumption. This innovation is fully in line with the Communauté d'Agglomération de Haguenau's commitment to sustainable mobility, reducing the ecological footprint of its facilities while guaranteeing user safety.
