Kampung Tehel, a new application for LuminoKrom® phosphorescent marking in Jasin

In December 2023, a new application of LuminoKrom® photoluminescent road paint was completed on a national highway in Jasin, Malaysia. This innovative project, managed by JKR Melaka, was implemented by our distributor AHN VERTEX, marking a major step forward in improving road safety at night.

The project, located on the Jln Tehel – Bkt Katil M24 road, involved the application of photoluminescent road markings. LuminoKrom® is distinguished by its ability to absorb light during the day and release it at night, providing enhanced visibility without dependence on street lighting. This technology is designed to improve road user safety, particularly in areas where lighting is inadequate or non-existent.

This project in Jasin demonstrates the local authorities’ commitment to integrating advanced technological solutions for road safety. By choosing LuminoKrom®, JKR Melaka hopes not only to reduce the number of night-time accidents but also to provide better orientation for drivers, especially in low-light conditions.

The success of this initiative could encourage the wider adoption of this technology across Malaysia, improving road infrastructure and driver safety on a wider scale.
