Photoluminescent markings to guide cyclists in complete safety

Optimized layout for enhanced visibility

In June 2023, Le Muretain Agglo and the Mairie de Muret undertook to make safe the Roman cycle path linking Le Fauga station, Lavernose-Lacasse, Saint-Hilaire and Ox. Applied by AXIMUM Toulouse, this LuminoKrom® photoluminescent marking includes :

  • An edge guide along the footbridge.
  • Axial T'1 markings and zebra stripes to indicate bollards at cycle lane entrances and exits.

Thanks to this reinforced signage, cyclists can ride in complete safety and peace of mind, particularly in poor lighting conditions.

An eco-responsible solution for soft mobility

LuminoKrom® captures daylight and releases it for 10 hours at night, guaranteeing energy-free night-time signage. This development is fully in line with Muretain Agglo's and Muret town council's desire to promote soft and sustainable travel, while improving the safety of cycling infrastructures.
