Leucate deploys LuminoKrom® luminescent paint on its cycle path
LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint on the tourist site of Leucate, in France.
LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint is deployed by the Municipality of Leucate to make nighttime journeys safer in an area without public lighting. This luminous beacon captures light during the day and illuminates at night without any consumption of electricity or CO2 emissions. The LuminoKrom® coating exploits photoluminescence. This physical process allows the paint to recharge indefinitely in daylight or artificial lighting without any fatigue.
For this development, the LuminoKrom marking was carried out on the central lane of the cycle area in a 6 cm T3 discontinuous lane. Applying LuminoKrom® luminescent paint to the infrastructure is quick and easy.
For the municipality of Leucate, the construction of this luminous cycle path using the LuminoKrom® marking is part of a strategy of territorial attractiveness. It is an important element of differentiation, of development of its territory, allowing the practice of the bicycle in family in full safety, in particular at the end of the summer evening.
