LuminoKrom® phosphorescent road paint applied for the second time in Montluçon.

The town of Montluçon recently renewed its experiment with LuminoKrom® to improve the safety and visibility of its greenways using our photoluminescent paint. This new application is part of an ambitious project designed to promote safe night-time mobility. This is the second significant application of our technology in the Montluçon cycling area.

By equipping cycle paths and footpaths with our paint, Montluçon aims to provide better visibility during low-light hours, reducing the risk of accidents and encouraging the use of soft transport, such as cycling and walking, after sunset. LuminoKrom® paint, which captures light during the day and returns it at night, creates luminous paths that guide users in an environmentally friendly way, without the need for electricity or additional artificial lighting.

This initiative is part of a wider framework of sustainable development and thoughtful urban planning, in which the safety of residents and the preservation of the environment are priorities. The success of this project in Montluçon could inspire other towns to adopt similar solutions, thereby promoting safer and more pleasant urban mobility at night for all.
