Reinforced signage for safe evacuation

In September 2023, Lafarge Ciments applied LuminoKrom® to its clinker production tower at Port-la-Nouvelle (11).

This photoluminescent marking, produced in-house, ensures the safety of evacuation routes on 8 levels of 3 storeys each. The marking consists of directional arrows and pictograms, guaranteeing clear orientation in the event of a power failure or total darkness.

A durable, reliable solution for industrial safety

LuminoKrom® captures daylight and releases it for up to 10 hours at night, providing energy-saving signage. This technology provides clinker tower operators with continuous visibility of escape routes, even in the event of a power cut, guaranteeing enhanced safety and effective signage.
