In April 2024, the Communauté de Commune Cœur de Tarentaise (Département 73) chose LuminoKrom® to make the greenway between Moûtiers and Grand Aigueblanche safer.

Manufactured by AXIALIS, this photoluminescent marking enhances night-time visibility, providing users with safe guidance even in the absence of public lighting. This project reduces the risk of accidents by providing cyclists and pedestrians with durable, high-performance signage.

A sustainable and innovative solution for soft mobility

This initiative, part of a wider effort to promote sustainable development in the region, uses LuminoKrom® paint to improve night-time visibility without the need for street lighting. Our paint captures daylight and gives it back at night, creating a path of light that guides users for 10 hours after sunset. This not only enhances the safety of pedestrians and cyclists by reducing the risk of accidents after dark, but also helps to reduce light pollution, a strong environmental commitment on the part of the community.
