LuminoKrom® phosphorescent paint applied at the French department of Savoie.

LuminoKrom®, our phosphorescent road paint, was recently applied in the Communauté de Commune Cœur de Tarentaise, symbolising a significant step forward in terms of safety and innovation for local infrastructure in Savoie. This ambitious project focused on the development of a greenway, linking Moûtiers to Grand Aigueblanche, designed to encourage soft modes of transport such as walking and cycling.

This initiative, part of a wider effort to promote sustainable development in the region, uses LuminoKrom® paint to improve night-time visibility without the need for street lighting. Our paint captures daylight and gives it back at night, creating a path of light that guides users for 10 hours after sunset. This not only enhances the safety of pedestrians and cyclists by reducing the risk of accidents after dark, but also helps to reduce light pollution, a strong environmental commitment on the part of the community.

The choice of LuminoKrom® for this project demonstrates the Communauté de Commune Cœur de Tarentaise’s commitment to the safety of local residents and to sustainable development in the region. This project is perfectly in line with the vision of sustainable and safe mobility for all its residents and visitors.
