LuminoKrom® makes a new La Vélodyssée route safer at night
Photoluminescent markings to guide cyclists safely over 4.5 km
An exemplary project to promote soft mobility
As part of the rehabilitation of La Vélodyssée, the Communauté de communes du Seignanx has undertaken to make 4.5 km of the cycle path between Ondres and Labenne, in the Landes region, safer by applying T'1 axial markings using our LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint.
Carried out in two phases in spring and autumn 2024 by Aximum 40, this project aims to improve the legibility of the cycle lane at night, while supporting the development of a safe network for cyclists.
A sustainable solution for night-time mobility without lighting
LuminoKrom® technology captures daylight and restores it for 10 hours in the dark, with no energy consumption. This marking ensures clear, visible signage in natural environments, and enhances user safety by reducing dependence on artificial lighting. An eco-responsible choice, in line with the local authority's commitment to soft, sustainable mobility.
