LuminoKrom® luminescent paint has just been applied for the first time in the town of Arzon.

In May 2024, the commune of Arzon launched a project to improve safety and visibility on its cycle paths, particularly on the segment between the roundabout and the Port du Crouesty. This project involved the application of markings along the banks of the cycle path, designed to reinforce landmarks for cyclists and promote safer traffic.

The use of LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint on this busy section brings a notable innovation: the paint, which captures daylight, returns it at night, creating a luminous path that guides users after sunset.

This initiative is in line with Arzon’s commitment to promoting soft mobility, by providing well-lit infrastructures that encourage cycling at all times, in a safe and visually clear environment. This implementation also reflects a step towards reducing the municipality’s ecological footprint, by reducing reliance on artificial lighting and contributing to more sustainable energy management.
