In November 2023, JKR P. Terap installed LuminoKrom® double axial photoluminescent markings on the K11 road linking Jln Kuala Nerang, Kilang Gula Padang Terap and Padang Senai.

Manufactured by AHN VERTEX, this marking improves night-time visibility for motorists, particularly on stretches of road with limited street lighting. The initiative is designed to reduce the risk of collisions and run-off-road accidents by providing an effective warning light.

A sustainable solution for road safety

LuminoKrom® captures daylight and releases it for 10 hours at night, guaranteeing efficient signage without energy consumption. This installation illustrates JKR P. Terap's commitment to modern, safe infrastructures, by integrating sustainable, environmentally-friendly solutions into the management of the national road network.
