Axial markings for safe night-time mobility

In July 2021, Greater Périgueux has decided to improve the safety of the greenway running alongside the river Isle, in the Gour de l'Arche district, by applying LuminoKrom® guidance markings.

Manufactured by Signalisation 24, this 6 cm axial marking ensures optimum visibility for users, particularly at night, facilitating orientation and reducing the risk of accidents on this popular route for pedestrians and cyclists.

A sustainable solution for environmentally-friendly infrastructures

LuminoKrom® technology captures daylight and releases it for 10 hours at night, providing continuous signage without energy consumption.

This project illustrates Greater Périgueux's commitment to sustainable and safe infrastructures, promoting soft mobility and reducing the ecological impact of urban development.
