LuminoKrom® phosphorescent road paint has once again been applied in the Côtes-d’Armor region, in the town of Plérin.

In the Côtes-d’Armor region, a new application of our LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint has taken place, this time in Plérin. This marks a further step in the improvement of local infrastructure dedicated to soft mobility. Following an initial luminescent project in Pléneuf Val André, this second application in the department uses our paint to enhance safety on an unlit cycle path, optimising night-time visibility thanks to its unique properties.

This project in Plérin highlights the effectiveness of LuminoKrom® paint, certified class G, which is capable of restoring light for 10 hours after dark. Our paint is used to mark the horizontal signs on the runway, as well as the kerb markings on the dividers and the central island. These improvements provide long-lasting guidance and early detection of obstacles, which are crucial to user safety.

Thanks to increased visibility for around 80 metres, cyclists and pedestrians can spot and anticipate road features, increasing their comfort and safety. This luminescent marking reassures users and significantly encourages active mobility, even in low-light conditions, making night-time travel safer and more enjoyable.
