Shibuya in Japan, LuminoKrom® photoluminescent marking
A multifunctional application for visible signage day and night
Innovative signage in the heart of Shibuya
In May 2022, Miyagawa Kogyo Co Ltd applied our LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint in Tokyo's Shibuya district, on a variety of surfaces: indoor and outdoor bicycle navigation markers, wheelchair spaces and colored cones.
The aim is to guide users through a dense urban environment, while ensuring visibility at night.
A versatile, stand-alone solution for urban signage
LuminoKrom® captures ambient light and restores it for 10 hours in the dark, guaranteeing effective signage without electricity. This project illustrates the ability of our paint to adapt to multiple uses in urban environments, to enhance the inclusiveness, safety and legibility of public spaces, day and night.
